Survivor Z, created by Ed Anderson, is a post-apocalyptic text-based RPG that takes place 311 days after the ZDAY apocalypse has wiped out 90% of the world's population. The game starts with an intense strategy-based prologue where the player must make it home to their ZDAY bunker safely. After nearly a year, running low on resources, the survivor is forced to emerge and face a world filled with the undead and scarce supplies.

The game features a robust game engine that gives players full control over their weapons, inventory, and armor, as well as the ability to complete challenges using their items and interact with non-player character survivors. Survivor Z combines the intellectual challenge of a text-based RPG with the fast-paced action of a board game.

What sets Survivor Z apart is its integration of real-world location data and cloud-based content. The game utilizes location-based services to transform the player's surroundings into the post-apocalyptic world of Survivor Z. Players will encounter challenges in real-world locations such as cinemas, restaurants, and museums. Coffee shops, malls, hardware stores, and fast-food restaurants become survivor strongholds, treacherous traps set by rival survivors, and hidden troves of weapons and supplies. With every step, players are immersed in a world where no place is safe from the undead.

Survivor Z goes beyond fictional challenges by allowing players to search real-world locations for new challenges, unlock new stories, and build strongholds to protect against attacks from both the undead and rival survivors. Players can scavenge for supplies, craft fortifications and traps, and fight for territory and resources to ensure their survival. As your influence grows, so does your power.
